Cocktails at The Pink Cabana, A Stylish Bar Inside The Sands Hotel and Spa, Indio
In search of a unique setting in the Coachella Valley, I came across The Pink Cabana at the Sands Hotel and Spa. Located in Indian Wells, 35 minutes east of Greater Palm Springs, this hotel and restaurant channels the 1950s and 60s tennis clubs along with some light strokes of Moroccan decor. Although I have previously stayed at the hotel, it did not suit my taste so I, unfortunately, cannot recommend it–but I would suggest that if you find yourself in the area, grab a stool at the bar and enjoy a refreshing cocktail set against a scene of plush pinks and emerald greens.
Both the hotel and the restaurant were designed by Martyn Lawrence Bullard who is commonly referred to as the designer of the stars. He describes the property as ‘I Dream of Jeanie‘ meets mid-century modern. The atmosphere is ideal for your summer desert photoshoot. Make reservations here.
