During my visit to Napa this past summer, I enjoyed the privilege of being one of the inaugural guests to experience an elegant selection of Frank Family wines inside the newly minted tasting room. I had the pleasure of sitting next Leslie Frank, the founder herself, as we savored a selection of five exquisite wines during this momentous occasion.

Among the wines I had the pleasure of savoring, two immediately enchanted me. The 30th 2015 Lady Edythe Brut Rosé was a pink-fruit-colored sparkling delight, while the refreshing 2021 Carneros Chardonnay, widely adored by Chardonnay enthusiasts across the country, showcased its undeniable appeal with vibrant notes.

It was my first time visiting the estate and to my delight, Frank Family Vineyards activated my senses. The scenic property, thankfully spared from the 2020 Glass Fire, is vast, sprawling across the Valley with lush vineyards. While many wineries in Napa feel outdated, Frank Family Vineyards delivered an ambiance that was as inviting as it was beautiful. As a design-focused traveler, I appreciated the time and attention to detail that was invested in the property’s elevated transformation. My experience left me excited to indulge in some wine purchases and book my next tasting so that my husband and I could enjoy the property together.
