Master Chef Chiu King Tsang

Want to catch me at my best? Invite me into a wine room and watch as I maneuver with ease while I kiss Champagne bottles.  The Sonny Digital produced "Racks" stays playing in my head if you were wondering why I am always having so much fun. If you grew up in the Dena or the SGV, you probably remember this beautiful property as The Ritz Carlton, but for nearly a decade it has been home to The Langham, becoming a part of the landmark hotel that has called Pasadena home for the past 100 years. Lose yourself on the massive grounds while you twirl around after drinking some bubbly or enjoying an afternoon of high tea.

I had the great privilege of being invited to The Royce, the restaurant found inside The Langham, to experience a very rare meal from Master Chef Chiu King Tsang, who was instrumental in achieving two Michelin stars while at Ming Court in Hong Kong. He was flown into Los Angeles for a week long residency at The Langham and I am so grateful I had the opportunity to experience his greatness with a brilliant 5 course Cantonese dinner. His lamb ravioli laid gently in a pool of broth was a dish I will never forget.
