Rodarte at Cinefamily

Tonight I’m going to see sisters Kate and Laura Mulleavy, who you know best as the founders of Rodarte, at the Cinefamily (link) to present a “double-header of ‘double’ movies”! These ladies know their film and I’m so pleased that chose to show Krzysztof Kieslowski’s masterpiece The Double Life of Veronique and Brian De Palma’s insanely good Sisters.

One of the things I love most about the Mulleavy sisters is their support for the arts, especially film, music, and literature. If you didn’t catch them on KCRW last week, I suggest you listen to their “guest DJ” show (listen here). They rule, that’s all there is to it … and they live up the street in Pasadena.
