Yesterday I met some cool people who just moved to beautiful Los Angeles, one of them being a major gourmand. As we sat around the table at Honda-Ya, munching on scallop tartare, chicken hearts, and bacon wrapped okra I weighed in on all my favorite spots in this glorious town. One thing I had to mention, which I supplied with an iPhone visual, was the Ceviche Sampler at Dorados Ceviche Bar in Monterey Park.

Dorados is a frequent spot of mine and they just might have the best ceviche in L.A. The Ceviche Sampler serves up 5 different flavors, all of them being delicious. As I mentioned in my full coverage last year, the Pulpo Escabeche was my favorite, no big surprise as octopus is usually my preference. A close second was the Agua Chile (spicy shrimp) because this girl always needs some spice in her life. Summer has almost arrived which means it will be the perfect time to get your mariscos grub on!
