Top That!

 

Tonight I am thrilled to be attending Cinefamily’s Pajama Party Part II: Bitchcraft!, which is a double feature of THE CRAFT and TEEN WITCH. As someone who never threw out her Scott Cunningham books on everything Wicca (are you listening Christine O’Donnell?), I am so looking forward to reliving my junior high school desires to be as cool as Robin Tunney and Fairuza Balk. For the lighter side of witchery, you’ve got Teen Witch which has developed a cult following over its rap scene known as “Top That.”

Last year Rachel Antonoff released an homage to “Top That” starring Alia Shawkat. Her lovely clothes paired with one of the cutest girls in Hollywood was a total win. Here’s the video in cased you missed it the first time – I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did!

Magic Maker

Because I wore shorts almost every day this summer, I’ve been on the hunt for a perfect pair to join my legs this fall.  I think I might have just found the perfect pair in these Vena Cava dorze shorts.  I took notes when blogger Jayne of Stop It Right Now said you shouldn’t post about something before buying it, but I could not help myself.  Combine magical shorts with this J.Crew Mongolian lamb tote and you are one Scott Cunningham spell away from being the teen witch you always wanted to be.

Last night I was totally jamming to Phoenix and Gorillaz while pretending to buy everything on the J.Crew website.  I’m thinking this means I’m officially getting older.
