Today is the day I will receive my new camera in the mail.  I cannot believe this time has come as I’ve been daydreaming about high quality photos for over two years now.  A former employee of mine showed me this gem (Olympus E-P1) back in Spring and I haven’t stopped thinking about it since.  How could I, the design is incredible.  I drooled over it online, spent some time holding it like a baby at Samy’s Camera and now we will finally come together in perfect unity.  Considering all the new projects that have popped up in my life, this camera couldn’t arrive at a better time.

I’d like to offer a sincere goodbye to my “Sanyo” camera which my Dad bought for me off a runaway truck in a downtown L.A. alley.  Though my old camera literally took 45 seconds to capture a photo, used 2 AA batteries every 30 mins, and had about as many megapixels as my Blackberry camera, I have to say, its was fun. You won’t be missed, but you’ll hold a special place in my heart.

I promise you, with this camera by my side, there is going to be food posts like I’ve always imagined them to be! I am absolutely giddy right now.
